I love the minimalist design and the rugged build quality. I think the Helimix 2.0 is a great product. I highly recommend watching the video to witness my heart-pumping experience. While the BlenderBottle began to spray foam almost immediately, the Helimix held on to its seal, even as the bottle built up pressure, until it dramatically popped open the lid. I flipped both bottles at the same time, and the difference in performance became immediately evident. To test their seals, I added 5 oz of vinegar to each bottle with muffin pan liner floating on top carrying 3 grams of baking soda. While the Helimix did leave behind a few clumps, they were not significant enough to be a deal breaker for me. The BlenderBottle emerged victorious in this round, producing a clump-free concoction. To test the blending abilities of the BlenderBottle and Helimix, I added 1 cup of water and 20 grams of protein powder to each bottle, shook them vigorously for approximately 20 seconds, and then passed each protein shake through a filter to assess the number of clumps left behind. The BlenderBottle on the other hand has markings for 6, 10, and 14oz equating to 3/4, 1 1/4, and 1 3/4, however, even if you preferred the BlenderBottles odd increments, they didn’t bother to add graduation marks, so if you want accurate measurements buy the Helimix. The Helimix also has markings for 4, 8, and 12 oz equating to 1/2, 1, and 1 1/2 cups. Measurementsīoth bottles have a measurement markings for 100, 200, 300, and 400 mL. To illustrate the Helimix’s robustness, I weighed both bottles on a scale, and the Helimix outweighed the BlenderBottle by a staggering 40%. The BlenderBottle seems cheap and flimsy compared to the Helimix. The difference in quality between the bottles was immediately apparent. The Helimix comes in 20 oz and 28 oz sizes and over a dozen colors, however, the BlenderBottle has a wider selection of colors and sizes. I purchased the small 20 oz version of each shaker bottle, but both brands come in a variety of sizes and colors. In addition to having one less piece to lose, and one less piece to clean, I prefer the design of the Helimix over the BlenderBottle because I’m a little worried about the potential for a metal ball shaking around in a plastic cup to create a microplastic smoothie. The angled sides of the bottle are designed to reverse the rotation of the liquid as you shake it up and down. Unlike most protein shaker cups, the Helimix 2.0 doesn’t use any kind of ball or whisk. So, let’s dive in and see how these two shaker bottles stack up against each other. 
With its innovative design and high build quality, we think the Helimix will be the clear winner.
